When was seventeen, I decided I wanted to learn how to knit. I looked up directions online, got really excited, and ran downstairs to find my mother and inform her of my plans.

She looked at me, sighed, and said, 'Why can't you go out and get drunk, like a normal seventeen year old?'

    I'm still yarn obsessed.

Hello Out There!

Amongst other non-knitting news, I turned twenty-five last week, and am currently finding myself completely immersed in a quarter-life crisis.  What am I doing with my life?  Am I where I want to be?  What, exactly, do I want to be when I grow up?  Am I grown up?

This is what the inside of my head sounds like on a regular basis.  And, on top of all of that, my knitting has fallen on the wayside for the moment while I sort everything out.  It’s very sad, actually.

Anyway, regular postings will commence soon.  I’m still here, I still wish I was knitting constantly, but there are some changes going on in my life, and I’m feeling a little overwhelmed.

Don’t worry, I’ll be back.
