When was seventeen, I decided I wanted to learn how to knit. I looked up directions online, got really excited, and ran downstairs to find my mother and inform her of my plans.

She looked at me, sighed, and said, 'Why can't you go out and get drunk, like a normal seventeen year old?'

    I'm still yarn obsessed.

How do you wear a shawl?

I got this lovely shawl pin in the mail today, and I’ve tossed my shawls over my shoulders, pinned it, folded it, and I just can’t seem to get the hang of it.  How do you wear a shawl?

  1. That’s a gorgeous pin!!

  2. Your website is lovely. Really. And congratulations.

And as for shawls – however they stay on is how they’re worn! That’s my favourite thing about them; how they are gorgeous and lacy and delicate, even when they’re sloppy.

  3. I love the shawl pin – I think I need to find something like that.

  4. Somehow i missed the point. Probably lost in translation 🙂 Anyway … nice blog to visit.

    cheers, Coextensive.
